Today I begin my challenge to look at the life and work of the myriad musicians who have struck a chord with me over the years of my short life. The theme is going to be structured around those masters of their art who have unfortunately been taken early, when they might have had so much more to give. Many of these people are well known popular musicians whose music I have become more familiar with over time, but there is also a presence of the less mainstream artists, or musicians who were popular in their time, but whose music is now thought to be obsolete or irrelevant to today's commercial market.
What they all have in common: they all died earlier than perhaps they should have done, and their music has lived with me and maybe even influenced the way I live my life, and this is what I want to share.
For my first instalment I will be reflecting upon the master of the euphemism and one time singer of AC/DC - Bon Scott.
